fumi Acoustic Plaster® S3 is a cement-based dry mortar with lightweight mineral aggregates. This plaster has a grain size of approximately 2.0–2.7 mm and a thermal conductivity of 0.12 W/(mK). It offers sound absorption of up to alpha w 0.80 on acoustically effective carrier board systems and up to 0.45 on smooth substrates, depending on the layer thickness, which can vary between 3–5 mm on carrier boards and 10–25 mm on smooth surfaces such as concrete. The white acoustic plaster is primarily used on ceilings and upper wall areas indoors, including in damp rooms. fumi Acoustic Plaster® S3 is available in white and comes in 50-liter bags.
